Thisposition works closely with the project management and other functionalleaders in the company (service, quality) and is responsible forproviding discipline leadership and management for the technical roadmap to support the development of controllers for theindustrial/commercial and consumer product lines. They are responsiblefor devising and effectively implementing a development methodology thatensures superior products while also fostering and rewarding innovationand creativity within the engineering department. EssentialDuties/Responsibilities: Works directly with Electronics & Controls coreengineering group to develop a global product that delivers on specificcustomers\' needs. Grow and manage a team of embedded firmwaredevelopers. Effectively manage the development process (e.g. developtime compression techniques, design/application standards for improvedrepeatability, manage process across multiple projects). Fostercollaboration between engineering, product management, operations,finance, and other departments to identify and harvest new engineeringconcepts, technologies, techniques, standards and procedures. Manageexpenses ensure regulatory compliance and support corporate goals (e.g.revenue growth, profitability, market penetration).
