Qualcomm's Multimedia Test Team is seeking new computer science graduates who will develop post processing and test cases for optimizing the software solution in low power Audio signal processing SoCs. Working as part of a Multimedia test team this engineer drive pre- and post-silicon

Audio use cases analysis and optimization projects across Qualcomm's handset and compute SoC roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

Entry Level test developer in Python and C that would work on exiting new technologies for Audio signal processing, GenAI use cases involving Multimedia scenarios

Required knowledge of Python

Required knowledge of C

Proficient in writing code in object oriented fashion

Familiar with audio signal processing and objective quality tools ( SNR, SSIM )

Familiar with Machine Learning methodologies, use cases, model conversion

Familiar with Py torch / TensorFlow

MS Degree in Computer Science or EE preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

New graduates MS Degree in Computer Science or EE preferred

Experience working with python scripts

Familiar with computer architecture and Audio technology

Pay range:

$100,000.00 - $150,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
