Equitable Financial Life Insurance Company seeks a System Analysis II, Retirement Systems for its Charlotte, NC location.
Duties: Responsible for end-to-end delivery of customizations for Individual Retirement business applications, including Wealth Management Accelerator (wmA) / Vantage-One / Customer Service Accelerator (csA) / Distribution Support System (DSS), among others, on IBM mainframe platform using CICS, COBOL, VIDD, DB2, VSAM, JCL File-aid, SPUFI and SQL. Analyze, gather and prioritize functional / non-functional requirements to support applications for annuities and other insurance-related product management. Define scope, translate business requirements into feature/user stories in Azure DevOps on Kanban framework. Prepare use cases and flow diagrams in VISIO to demonstrate current state of application and post-customization functionality. Propose and design solutions, including new or modified processes and procedures for complex business problems. Evaluate current applications and/or business processes to identify, develop and implement automated solutions. Create metrics, reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI on data associated with stories, bugs, and root cause analyses to provide insights to stakeholders for better decision making and system improvements. Gather, clean and interpret data to visualize issues and recommend solutions. Detect and prevent bugs in system application. Implement business rule changes in Product Wizard (PW) in production environment. Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements.
The base salary range for this position is $127,171 – $145,833. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree (3 or 4 year) or foreign equivalent in any field and 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Consultant, System Analyst, or closely related IT position involving IT management for annuity or life insurance system development. Full term of experience must include: SQL, IBM Mainframe, CICS, COBOL, VIDD, DB2, VSAM, File-aid / SPUFI, Product Wizard, Quality Center; Wealth Management Accelerator (wmA) / Vantage-One/ Customer Service Accelerator (csA) / Distribution Support System (DSS) for policy administration, customer service and agent’s commissions; Business analysis planning & monitoring, requirement elicitation, requirement life cycle management, design & development, solution implantation and evaluation; Project Management; Quality Assurance; Life Insurance and Annuity Domain; and Waterfall and Agile methodologies. 40 hours/week.
