JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description The Parts Manager will supervise anddirect all sales activity, shipping, receiving, inventory control anddistribution of truck parts and accessories to customers while achievingcompany expectations for sales volume and profitability. Shift:Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm (Saturdays as needed) Pay:\$75,000-\$85,000/year, plus incentive/bonus Essential Duties andResponsibilities: Process Management Actively manage the outside salesteam and counter staff to create sales opportunities. Achieve budgetedgoals for sales volume, gross margin, inventory turns and departmentprofitability. Monitor and control slow and non-moving stock levelswithin company guidelines. Review part costs and control retail partpricing in accordance with SBU objectives. Coordinate retail visualdisplays and merchandising efforts to maximize impulse purchasing.Oversee part warranty and core management procedures. Utilize existingtools and work with the centralized inventory control team to maintainan appropriate and efficient part inventory in accordance with approvedcost controls. Participate in trade shows, open houses and otherindustry events. Personnel Management Work with Human Resources toselect, hire, train and develop employees. Provide training and guidancefor various Parts Department functions, as necessary. Supervise andmentor all employees and ensure all duties are completed. Other dutiesas assigned. Progressive thinkerwho embraces new ideas and implements change.
