OurHenderson mine and mill are an hour's drive apart - separated by theContinental Divide and a 15-mile conveyor system (10 miles isunderground). The Henderson mine is about 50 miles west of Denver and 10miles west of Empire, and the mill is located between Dillon and Kremmling.

　　DescriptionPerforms duties related to the operation of heavy equipment in support ofproduction including de-watering, materials delivery, maintaining berms,and surface maintenance at a skilled level.

　　Operates heavy equipment which may include but is not limited to: haultrucks, water trucks, rubber tire dozers, track dozers, excavators,motor graders and front-end loadersMay assist with training and mentoring of other equipment operatorsResponsible for understanding changes to assigned work areas and anypotential hazardsResponsible for knowing the following procedures: start-up andshut-down, parking, mounting and dismounting, Lock-Out Tag-Out Try-Out(LOTOTO), emergency, fire, working with ground personnel, and Blue StakeMay perform the following duties: road building, managing stockpiles,road surface maintenance, building and maintaining road berms, loadingtrucks, and trenchingResponsible for understanding equipment components and practices that reducecomponent damage and wearMay perform operations support activities such as barricading shovels andassisting with power cable movesPerforms pre-shift inspection of equipmentCommunicates through computer dispatching system or two-way radioMay perform minor maintenance activitiesPerforms other duties as requiredQualificationsMinimum Qualifications
