If so, Amazon Rapid Rural Logistics is looking for you. Team is looking for a Long Term Planning Supply Chain Manager to design how we will scale across North America.
Candidates for the Network Planning Supply Chain Manager role must be effective cross-functional leaders. They must be capable of diving deep into data while simultaneously thinking big, building long-term strategic designs that optimize for cost, coverage, speed, and, most importantly, Customer experience. The candidate must be able to communicate these designs and strategic visions, influencing leadership across retail, transportation operations, and technology teams.
Key job responsibilities
Knowledge to quickly understand and assess simulation results and the business impact of trends to make the best decisions based on available data
Configure the inputs driving shipping decisions for packages in our global transportation network
Define metrics to measure transportation performance and drive continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline processes and reduce non-value added work
Pull and report data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed
Maintain and report up to date and accurate statistics, management reports and analysis
Facilitate the flow of information between different stakeholders (Delivery Stations/Fulfillment Centers/Sort Centers)
Systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure that they are delivered
Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers)
Problem solve and design solutions for Amazon's transportation network, support large scale transportation programs

Basic Qualifications
2+ years of program or project management experience
3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
2+ years of supply chain experience
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $62,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $150,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
