Supply Chain Manager | Direct Placement

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Supply Chain Manager to oversee and manage the end-to-end supply chain operations for our defense technology-focused business. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and services through a high-performance team.
This position requires experience in manufacturing, understanding of schematics and bill of materials, and experience managing people. It is preferred that you have federal supply chain experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the development and management of the supply chain strategy, considering current and future requirements, market trends, and technological advancements.
Manage procurement and sourcing processes for goods and services, ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements.
Develop strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products.
Analyze and optimize supply chain performance through the implementation of lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve supply chain challenges.
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, ensuring the development of their skills and capabilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 to 10 years of supply chain management experience.
Previous experience managing people, not just processes.
Experience working within a federal supply chain environment – FAR/DFAR/ITAR
Strong understanding of schematics and bill of materials.
Experience with electronics and technology-based supply chains preferred.
Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint is required.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, think strategically, and manage multiple priorities.
