Description Robert Half is currently working with a client looking to fill a Purchasing Assistant position. Main duties include supporting the purchasing department. Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills are required for this Purchasing Assistant position. 　　Key responsibilities

　　Collaborate with all departments to ensure they have appropriate inventory levels

　　Identify best options for suppliers, goods, and services

　　Ensure that all orders are complete and have all the necessary information

　　Provides exceptional customer service when working with vendors and suppliers

　　Perform data entry of daily purchase orders

　　Support the purchasing department with any additional tasks Requirements - High school diploma or GED required

　　Skilled in communication and negotiation

　　Degree in business administration, procurement, or a related field preferred

　　Must have strong research skills and excellent analytical thinking

　　Must be very organized and skilled in documentation

　　Previous experience as a purchasing agent or in a similar position

　　Proficiency in inventory management software programs, CRM, and ERP
