ResponsibilitiesDevelop, manage, implement and evaluate all aspects of Peri-Operative Services across Seattle Children's. Create a patient-focused, high-performing, high-commitment work team which supports the mission, vision, and credo of the perioperative clinical enterprise. Strategically develop and align systems to effectively support clinical and business operations by ensuring both quality and service targets are met or exceeded. Provide leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives for Peri-Operative services including programmatic components of operations, facilities, capital and operating budgets and staffing. Provide consultation and business expertise to administrative and physician leadership. Develop and implement improvements to financial performance of Peri-Operative services including benchmarking and the development and evaluation of business plans for existing and new programs. Partner with academic and clinical leadership to expand the business expertise of the service. Apply the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively engage with colleagues and/or patients and families. Partners with Operative Services Clinical Practice Leader to ensure operational efficiency and leverage new opportunities. Apply Lean methodology principles in daily activities, processes and procedures. Manage special projects that contribute to development of the department.RequirementsRequired Education/Experience:Master's degree in Nursing8-10 years of recent experience with demonstrated knowledge and leadership qualitiesExperience with inpatient/outpatient surgeries, GI, procedural areas and SPD.Required Credentials:Current Washington State RN license.CNOR certificationCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.Current PEARS or PALS certification will be accepted in lieu of BLS.A copy of graduate degree in Nursing or transcripts indicating attainment of Master's degree in nursing is to be on record with Human Resources upon hire.Preferred:NEA-BCDNPMin to Max Hourly Salary$94.70 - $142.05 /hrMin to Max Annual Salary$196,976.00 - $295,464.00 /yrSalary InformationThis compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
