Summary About the Position: Serves as a Chief, Contract Administration Section, with responsibility for contract administration function for the construction and Architect-Engineer (A-E) programs that consist of Civil Works Projects and Other Programs. H5L8C30 Responsibilities Ensure uniform implementation of guidance by various field offices by review of work, inspections, and site visits. Provide guidance to field construction offices concerning contract administration and policies and procedures. Review and evaluate program status, defines, and resolves unusually complex problems, and adjusts initiatives and priorities as needed. Improve team effectiveness and efficiency though development of procedures and standards for carrying out projects in compliance with applicable regulation and policies. Review and coordinate contract modification, payment documents, contract administration documents and contract closeouts. Prepare cost estimates and determines feasibility and justification of proposed changes.
