Summary About the Position: This is a Supervisory Interdisciplinary GS-14 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Southwestern Division, Regional Planning and Environmental Center. This position may be filled at any of the following duty locations: Fort Worth, TX; Galveston, TX; Little Rock, AR; or Tulsa, OK. The duty location chosen for this position is at the discretion of management and will be determined at the time of selection. Responsibilities Serve as the Full Deputy to the Director of Regional Planning and Environmental Center. Supervise a multidisciplinary staff engaged in the life-cycle program management of projects within the Military/HTRW/IIS and Civil Works programs. Ensure consistency and continuity of program management policies and procedures for both the civil works and military programs, and represents the Director in overall program discussions and decisions. Responsible for all program management functions of the Military/HTRW/IIS programs including revenue forecasting, the management of existing funds from a wide variety of customers and appropriations, and customer financial reporting. Provide Branches and Divisions with technical advisory and review services on specific projects, problems and programs. Oversee preparation of data for the District's annual workload forecasting effort. Develop and compile necessary project and program information needed to support manpower allocation forecasts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
