Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST in the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. All Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) positions are in the excepted service. Responsibilities You will serve as the Supervisory Intelligence Specialist to the Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO) for NCIS Office of Strategic Operations (OSO). You will enable your team of assigned employees to produce creative, incisive, and impactful analysis that will be a primary driver of OSO operations. You will apply your experience in Targeting and Counterintelligence Operations support to mentor, guide, assist, and perform quality-control for your team members. You will interact at a fundamental level with Filed and HQ Supervisory Agents to help build and execute operational strategies and policies , and negotiate the required analytical requirements and support. You will take ownership of the daily priorities, processes, and assignments of your team. You will report noteworthy successes, challenges, or potential problems to SIO for awareness and/or action. You will maintain relationships with NCIS Field, NCISHQ, Intelligence Community, Law enforcement, and International Partners germane to your team’s efforts. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, Leading complex counterintelligence operations and implementing policies and procedures governing CI operations and/or Foreign Disclosures.
