SUMMARY
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to ensure technicians achieve the planned work, production goals, and safety of personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate repairs and maintenance for scheduled aircraft.
Ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration and Cooperation for all internal and external audits and inspections.
Monitor and enforce all deadlines and workloads according to the customer deadlines.
Performance reviews and disciplinary action as required.
Participation in employee engagement and retention efforts.
Flexiblilty in essential duties and responsibilities to meet the needs of the business
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities for Lead Mechanics, Technicians, and hangar staff in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, resolving problems, ensuring personnel are following company safety practices, working with the customer, outside vendors, and internal departments.

QUALIFICATIONS
A successful supervisor will lead by example and guide fairly in accordance with policies and procedures in the AAR Code of Conduct and Indy MRO Handbook. The Maintenance Supervisor must maintain Airframe and Powerplant License in good standing.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university preferred. Minimum of five-years related experience and/or training. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills required. Must possess a current and active FAA A&P Certificate.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The Maintenance Supervisor must pass the AAR Government Services Physical Demands Assessment annually. The areas assessed include but may not be limited to lifting, carrying, standing, walking, push/pull, vision, hearing, and PPE use and protocols.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This MRO is a secured and robust multi-leveled facility with multiple hangers and a diverse work population. This facility requires the ability to be pass Indianapolis Airport badging protocol. Must be able to handle fast and precise workload.
