Within our flagship Lemoore West manufacturing facility located in Lemoore, California Leprino is seeking a Cheese Supervisor to p rovide guidance and direction in the Cheese Department. This individual will make decision pertaining product quality, department safety, and department efficiency. They will monitor all aspects of their team including product testing, equipment opperations, and employee actions.

　　At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $84,000 and $100,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 10%.

　　Plan and schedule daily staffing needs to maximize labor efficiency and ensure production needs are met.

　　Lead and coach team employees in Cheese Department by implementing programs in technical training, safety, quality, communications, performance recognition and internal employee development in order to ensure peak employee engagement and productivity.

　　Implement plant safety programs to ensure compliance and a safe working environment.

　　Provide employees with the training, equipment, and tools to be able to safely perform their jobs.

　　Participate in safety investigations and corrective actions.

　　Lead and execute the departments quality systems to achieve quality goals.

　　Oversee the sanitation program effectiveness to ensure food safety standards are met in the department.

　　Monitor team operations and makes recommendations for labor and manufacturing efficiency, cost savings, and quality improvements.

　　Executing the Cheese Departments financial performance goals to assure that a quality product is provided at the least possible cost.

　　You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

　　An Associates or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology or related field, or similar work experience in related industry.

　　5+ years of experience in food manufacturing environment.

　　1+ years of progressive leadership or supervisory experience.

　　Proficient computer knowledge, with familiarity or ability to learn SAP or other manufacturing computer systems.
