Sinclair Broadcast Group’s Corporate Accounting Department is seeking a summer intern.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Prepare journal entries for the corporate entities, including but not limited to, check/wire/ACH receipts and payments; bank transfers; investment-related activity; and bank fees
Assist the Corporate Accounting staff with various month-end/quarter-end close responsibilities, including balance sheet account reconciliations.
Provide support to accounts payable, accounts receivable and station personnel related to cash transactions and receipt coding.
Complete ad-hoc projects to support the Corporate Accounting team as necessary.
Qualifications:
Pursuing an accounting or finance degree
Analytical and detail-oriented;
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, professional environment;
Desire and ability to work in a team environment and communicate well with others;
Strong Excel skills required.
Willing to work approximately 15 hours a week for 10 weeks, beginning in June 2024 There may be a variety in hours
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
Must have reliable transportation and be able to work from our Hunt Valley office
