Description

　　A dynamic organization is on the hunt for an ambitious, focused candidate with excellent technical abilities to fill a Medical Billing Specialist role in the Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance industry. The Medical Billing Specialist role is a long-term contract opportunity and is located in Jacksonville, Florida. 　　Supervise aspects of particular patient accounts, including billing and reimbursement

　　Focus on data quality and uniformity via close collaboration with other factions

　　Submit bills to insurance organizations and patients

　　Requirements

　　Outstanding data entry skills

　　Prefer 3+ years experience in medical billing or within the revenue cycle

　　Experience with Microsoft Office required

　　Previous experience with an electronic medical record systems (EHR/EMR)

　　Strong knowledge of explanation of benefits (EOBs)

　　High school diploma or equivalent required

　　Excellent oral and written communications skills

　　Well-founded grasp of medical denials

　　Quality experience with Medical Insurance Verification

　　Foundational knowledge in medical collections

　　Basic Medical Terminology experience desired

　　General familiarity with Medical Insurance

　　Electronic Medical Record experience preferred

　　Earlier work involving Excel Formulas

　　Strong familiarity with medical billing
