The Club for the Future team is Blue Origin's K-12 STEM Education nonprofit, engaging with external partners to host STEM Education events, promote space-related online lessons, and inspire the next generation through Access to Space programs. As part of our small, passionate team, you will support social media and marketing communications and STEM education outreach. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.We offer internships at the following locations: Kent, WA; Cape Canaveral, FL; Van Horn, TX; Huntsville, AL; Los Angeles, CA; Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ. However, not every technical discipline is offered at each location. Most internships will be held in Kent, WA. This internship will last approx. 12 weeks (May or June to August or September).ResponsibilitiesMust be able to take initiative daily and be prepared with one's own ideas to find ways to contribute to the overall missionCreate and manage social media outreach, news broadcasts, and press conferencesMaintain a positive attitude and contribute team spiritMust be ready and enthusiastic to step into any variety of rolesCollaborate with the SMS and Club for the Future departmentsQualificationsPursuing an undergraduate degree in communications, hospitality, education, or related fieldExperience in social media outreach, education, or project management roleExceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detailHigh emotional intelligenceStrong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service capabilities and deliveryHave a valid driver's licenseEfficiency in high pressure situationsReadiness to travel 75% of time as neededDon't meet every single requirement?
