　　Boeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring for Associate, Mid-Level, or Experienced Structures Design Engineer to work at our Everett, or Renton, WA locations.

　　As an Associate Structures Designer (Level 2), you will have the following responsibilities:

　　Develops, maintains and modifies structural and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.

　　Performs, integrates analytical and test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.

　　Manages supplier development, test and production activities and coordinates with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.

　　Develops new design processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort.

　　Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.

　　Works under general direction.

　　This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

　　This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

　　Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

　　Bachelor's Degree or higher in one of the following engineering majors: Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Civil, and select Structures degrees

　　Experience with Engineering classification such as Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil or Structural Engineering

　　Do you have experience or coursework with designing structures?

　　Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

　　2 or more years' related work experience as a minimum with increased experience required for higher levels or an equivalent combination of education and experience?

　　Demonstrate engineering knowledge as a level 2/3/4 engineer ideally working in a Structural and/or Aerospace industry.

　　ABET or equivalent is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

　　Typical Education/Experience:

　　Associate (Level 2)

　　Bachelor of Science degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master of Science degree with

　　typically experience in an engineering classification from an accredited course of study, in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Civil, and

　　select Structures engineering. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

　　Mid-Level (Level 3)

　　Bachelor of Science degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master of Science degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Doctorate of Science degree with experience from an accredited course of study, in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Civil, and select Structures engineering. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

　　Experienced (Level 4)

　　Bachelor of Science degree and typically 9 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master of Science degree with typically 7 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Doctorate of Science degree with typically 4 or more years’ experience from an accredited course of study, in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Civil, and select Structures engineering. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

　　Summary pay range for associate level: $67,000.00 - $119,000.00

　　Summary pay range for mid-level: $80,000.00 - $142,000.00

　　Summary pay range for senior level: $100,000.00 - $178,000.00
