Our goal is to capture the physical world in a digital model by combining structural engineering methodologies with software development efforts.

　　In this role, you will work collaboratively with our team of talented structural engineers, as well as our internal software developers to enhance Weyerhaeuser’s external facing single and multiple family residence software solutions and provide support for various new development efforts.

　　Your background in Structural/Civil Engineering and problem-solving coupled with an interest in the Software Development process, project implementation will lead to your success in this position.

　　The duration of this internship is approximately 12 weeks beginning May 27th, 2024. This position will utilize a hybrid in-office/home schedule, reporting out of Weyerhaeuser’s Centennial Colorado office. The pay rate for this position will be $24 per hour.

　　Key Activities:

　　/Education/– working toward a BS in Structural/Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or other engineering/technical field and have at least a junior standing by July 2024.

　　/Core Skills/– ability to communicate issues/results to technical audiences, collaborate with individuals and teams, high level of initiative, ability to excel with minimal supervision, learn quickly, and actively seek new challenges./Technical Skills/– completed primary course(s) in Civil Engineering & Software Development/Drive/– eagerness to learn how to use your structural engineering knowledge while operating within various stages of the Software Development Lifecycle./Travel/– able and willing to travel within the US while working safely in a corporate or mechanized environment.Preferred:
