  About the Team:

  Are you looking to join an industry-leading sales organization? Our Healthcare Provider market team works with patient care providers, by providing tools and solutions to help better understand the market and manage risk.

  About the Job:

  The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for direct sales and business development with healthcare provider organizations leading to profitable revenue growth. This position works to establish relationships with large to medium health systems, academic medical centers, provider groups, and other strategic provider organizations.

  You'll Be Responsible For:

  Developing new LexisNexis Risk customers and cross-selling additional solutions to existing customers.

  Territory and account level growth strategy. Identifying and driving sales opportunities for LN products and services through the coordination of cross functional LN resources to educate decision makers and influencers and grow revenue for LN.

  Meeting or exceeding Revenue and New Business objectives.

  Understanding the strategic market direction and needs of health system clients, and penetrating new customers by selling at the manager to senior officer level within large, complex, and often sophisticated health systems. Owning the strategy development and opportunity execution, and in doing so, interact cross-functionally within LexisNexis Risk to identify and develop all potential revenue opportunities within the account.

  Leading negotiations with the prospective customer through the sales cycle to deal closure.

  Successfully transitioning responsibilities to the Account Management and Implementation teams to ensure a smooth transition to the applicable business unit(s). Working with the Account Manager to maintain the relationship and help drive adoption and utilization of LN services, as well as to understand emerging needs and additional sales opportunities within the account.

  Qualifications:

  Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.

  9+ years of outside sales experience, including at least 5+ years’ experience working with and selling to healthcare provider organizations.

  Demonstrated healthcare domain knowledge specific to healthcare IT.

  A proven and sustained track record in strategic new business selling directly to large, complex health care providers, from business development to closed multi-year business.

  Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.

  Must demonstrate strong persuasion skills and ability to successfully create and manage relationships at both operational and executive levels.

  Knowledge of next gen offerings including Big Data, Cloud Computing, Identity Fraud as well as Healthcare standards (Meaningful Use, HIPAA, MACRA, etc.) beneficial and a strong plus.

  Strong organizational, strategic thinking, and forecasting skills.

  Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities, all with fluctuating deadlines and with dependencies of work by other departments, both internal and external.

  Travel required up to 50%.

  Must live within territory: Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma or Nebraska.
