Renewables Project Manager
Spark Power, a trusted partner in energy in North America, is looking for a Renewables Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be based out of our Dallas office, managing, implementing, and commissioning BESS and Solar projects across the country. The right candidate should be experienced in commissioning and troubleshooting BESS and/or Solar projects, LO/TO procedures, and flexible to meet the changing needs of the projects.
What will do you as the Renewables Project Manager?

Develop and respond to new opportunities in coordination with Director of Operations
Provide engineering management, including preparation of bids, client liaison, development of proposals and budgetary analyses
Planning and kick-off of new projects as per our Project Checklists:
Liaise with customer to finalize commercial terms (Work Order, Purchase Order)
Organize project-kick off calls with relevant stakeholders (customer, QHS, leads, techs)
Communicate with teams to organize logistics and travel
Build master project schedule and share with team and customer
Manage on-going projects and implement project controls to:
Respond to safety incidents in coordination with QHS Department
Ensure Site Leads and Technicians are supported to work safely, ensure high quality & customer / employee satisfaction, and uphold Spark Power's reputation as an ISP
Maintain budgets, weekly invoicing, and adequate room on Purchase Orders
Maintain & adjust schedule to balance contractual obligations with employee needs
Monitor employee performance and implement disciplinary action if needed in coordination with Regional Supervisor
Liaise with customer on project-related issues
Travel up to 50% of the time.
Close out projects to:
Ensure organized demobilization of people, tooling, and assets
Plan and communicate future work opportunities for technician

Do you have the Spark? Here's what we're looking for:
Minimum 5 years of field experience and 3 years of Project Management experience in related field.
Experience with the following is preferred:
Medium-voltage transformers
Low-voltage transformers
Central inverters
String inverters and combiner boxes
Fixed-tilt and tracker mounted PV ground systems
Experience with battery storage systems is desirable
Must be able to complete drug testing and background check prior to employment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to motivate team members while being constructive and supportive
Ability to manage conflict and generate satisfactory resolutions
Methodical approach to problem solving
Proficiency with computers - Microsoft Office Suite, applying firmware updates, writing reports, mobile application usage in either Apple or Android, accessing devices via ethernet or Modbus
Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
Ability to travel throughout the U.S
