We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package and on-site wellness programs - not to mention the opportunity to work with the most talented people in marketing who'll challenge you and help you become better every day.The Equipment Technician ensures machines are running at peak efficiency through proper set-up, adjustment, preventative maintenance, and minor mechanical repairs.Responsibilities also include:Perform a variety of standard and prescribed duties to set-up, operate, and maintain mail inserter equipment within the high security disaster recovery operation.Work from testing schedules, samples and instructions to set-up, run, and operate selective inserters.Coordinate with Inventory Control that adequate material is available for assigned scheduled tests.Thread forms and adjust feeds, speeds and other controls. Perform combined standard duties necessary to load material into appropriate feeding stations and process until project is completed.Check output for quality, and make minor adjustments as required. Verify material for proper form number against production order/sample.Maintain production log, running time, down time, quantity produced and reading on postage meter, if applicable.Conduct preventative maintenance; cleaning, checking and inspecting equipment. Escalate difficulties to manager or on-site vendor.Train operators on basic machine operations and the solving of minor operation issues.Set up, maintain, adjust and troubleshoot lettershop production equipment while meeting deadlines and ensuring quality and quantity goals are met. Responsibilities also include:Performs quality set-ups on various machinery according to engineering specifications in allotted time achieving rate cycle speedsTroubleshoot and repair all production equipment within scope of their responsibilities by keeping machines runningPerforms scheduled preventative maintenanceDocuments all mechanical activities into computerAssists in training new mechanics when required on set-up and operation of equipmentObserves all company rules, regulations, safety procedures, and housekeeping standardsPerforms other duties that may be applyJob Requirements:High School DiplomaAbility to read/write basic EnglishMechanical AptitudeAbility to lift up to 50lbsAbility to stand, bend, and stoop for up to 12 hoursAbility to work 12 hour shifts, rotating 3 or 4 days per week, including weekendsPre-employment drug screen, and background check requiredAuthorized to work in the United StatesIWCO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
