Basic Job Functions:

The Strand Tender responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Leading unprecedented excellence in safety.

Assisting the team to reach goals and expectations for the melting, refining, and casting operation that align with our department and division strategy to produce results and ensure quality standards are met.

Safely operate and conduct maintenance on the casting machine and auxiliary equipment.

Training and continued growth and development of self.

Support and exceed all housekeeping expectations in area and machines.

Have a strong Nucor culture made up of team oriented, positive attitude, with a high level of ownership and accountability.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience at Nucor Steel Brandenburg or 1-year experience at another Nucor Division Supervisor and Manager approvalPreferred Qualifications:
