　　Job Description:

　　Assists Accounting and Finance Managers with monthly closings. Responsible for analysis of accounts payable and receivable, billing, trade accounting, corporate cash and payroll reconciliations. Responsible for financial statements and general ledger.

　　Key Responsibilities

　　Complies with all local, state, federal and government accounting and financial regulations.Finalizes, analyzes, and reports financial data.Prepares and reviews monthly financial reports and analysis.Assists with monthly analysis, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.Identifies potential cash flow problems and financial irregularities.Liaises with department heads to ensure that each department remains within budget.Enhances existing data processing systems or develops new systems.Works closely with independent and government auditors as required.Prepares budget and forecast reporting.Actively involved in annual audit preparations.Makes recommendations in the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.Maintains a collaborative problem solving relationship with customers, the sales organization and manufacturingPerform other duties as assigned.Education and Experience

　　Typically possesses a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 3-7 years of experience. May require a CPA certification.Knowledge and Skills

　　Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).Thorough understanding of the accounting field.Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively, independently and in a team environment.#LI-EF1
