　　*What you get to do in this role:  *

　　Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (code reviews, unit testing, etc.).

　　Work closely with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product to our users.

　　Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features

　　Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing

　　Create technical documentation and communicate technical concepts to both non-technical business users and technical stakeholders

　　Resolve vulnerabilities or defects identified in code scans

　　To be successful in this role you have:

　　6+ years of experience with Java or a similar Object-Oriented language

　　Passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization

　　Excellent knowledge of the ServiceNow Platform features and its capabilities. (automation/workflows, table structures, Integrations, etc.)

　　Advanced knowledge with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations

　　Advanced experience working with relational databases including development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

　　Exceptional analytical and design skills with the ability to lead in creating complex software architecture.

　　Capability to manage multiple projects with material technical risk across teams and processes; may serve as a functional lead or technical owner

　　Excellent technical design, problem-solving, debugging skills, and an aptitude for learning new technologies.

　　You enjoy coordinating with others to ensure complex engineering projects are done well.

　　Experience with Agile software development and knowledge of DevOps best practices

　　A keen eye for identifying areas of improvement in existing systems and proposing innovative solutions

　　Nice to Have Qualifications

　　ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification

　　Experience within the ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) product
