  THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Conduct audit reviews (achieve & maintain delegation) with strict confidentiality and compliance with procedural and regulatory requirementsTask Group Support:Manage/assist supporting a Task GroupFacilitate Task Group meetings and lead Task Group projectsFacilitate audit criteria development and revisionsProvide technical summary reports to the assigned task groupConduct and participate in Auditor interviews and recruitment.Identify and execute Auditor trainingCollaborate with Auditor Staffing to ensure sufficient capacity and manage assigned Auditors and Audit ReviewersConduct audits as required upon approval as an AuditorLead medium PRI internal projects to support continuous improvement and PRI strategiesMaintain proficiency or gain knowledge for all assigned technology areas by attending classes and conferences, visiting Subscribers/SuppliersAdapt an existing commodity to another Industry Managed Program (IMP)Develop and manage budgets of assigned activitiesSupport investigations initiated by the Ethics & Appeals Committee, as requiredEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent5 years experience in areas of forging, sand casting and investment casting5 years experience in heat treating preferred5 years experience in Quality Systems, preferred5 years experience working with technical industry standards, preferredAuditing experience / knowledge of Quality Management Systems, preferred5 years experience in the Aerospace Industry, preferredSKILLS AND ABILITIES:Technical knowledge of appropriate science/engineering disciplines/methods.Computers Skills: Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office).  Ability to make presentations, data pulls, and analysis.Job Knowledge: Demonstrates a functional understanding of all job knowledge skills, procedures, and processes.Language Skills: Possesses English language oral and written communication skills.Leadership: Demonstrates Leadership Potential. Facilitates team-oriented work processes through application of basic project management skills.Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate to Task Group Level Leaders.  Effectively communicates with others in speaking and writing. Confidence in communication skills but may seek advice/editorial input from peers or supervisor. In most cases presents thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise manner.Relationship Building: Builds and maintains successful working relationships with others.Problem Solving/Critical Thinking: Recommend process improvements and identify gaps.  Thorough understanding of assigned technology areas. Usually approaches problem solving in a systematic manner. Often seeks resources available for help as necessary. Assures proper documentation and follows up to ensure problem is resolved. Decisions are well thought out and made in a timely manner. Often interacts with a variety of individuals in an assortment of settings. Can accurately assess situational demands and employ appropriate behavioral response.Time Management: Meets key deadlines (meetings, etc.). Sets priorities for the accomplishment of activities. Demonstrates the ability to effectively multitask.
