About the Team :
This role is for the 'Talent Management' platform.
Eightfold’s Talent Management product is used in organizations to improve retention and employee experience, including upskilling/reskilling and opportunities for advancement, to develop and retain employees by giving them the power to drive their career paths, to identify internal talent with the potential to take on management roles, to take a skills-based approach to talent planning with AI-powered insights.
What You'll Do:
Responsible for owning a broad problem space, designing solutions & executing the implementation.
Act as a technical lead & mentor the junior team members.
Code & design review
Design and Develop robust, scalable, and configurable server-side applications and modules with an emphasis on quality, performance, design, and re-usability.
Work cross-functionally with PM, design, and engineering team to come up with a solution, and roadmap and execute on delivering it.
Build for customization and generalization powered by configuration management.
Improve code coverage and drive up the automated unit and selenium testing.
What We Need:
A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals with 10 or more years of hands-on experience in back-end development.
Experience owning/leading the POD/projects/features by working as a tech lead
Experience working in distributed systems, microservices, and highly scalable backend systems.
Passionate about coding, designing, building, launching, and maintaining products
Cares about the details in the user experience
Ability to develop software/code in one mainstream programming language (brownie points if you know Python)
Communicates and collaborates effectively across teams
Self-starter
