This position is responsible for leading theprocess electrical design for several simultaneous small to medium or afew larger projects from proposal stage to project closeout. The successful candidate will have a bachelor\'sdegree in electrical engineering from an accredited four-year college oruniversity and a minimum of 5 years of engineering firm experience (orequivalent). Valid driver\'s license required. Qualifications The idealcandidate will have any/all of the following: Create process electricalengineering designs at all levels of project definition (concept,preliminary, detailed, construction issue). Design raceway and wiringfor low-voltage motors and devices. Design device level networkarchitecture. Design control panels for various applications Developproject technical memorandum and reports. Perform equipmentspecification and proposal solicitation. Use computer assistedengineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering anddesign documents. Create project specification and scope of workcontract documents. Assistance in project construction cost estimatingCreation of project schedules Carryout contracting bidding meetings,on-site construction verification, and project system start up. Visitproject site to monitor progress and other duties per the contractdocuments. Assist in project proposal labor estimating. Instructstechnicians to reduce drawings and markups to working drawings. Use CADon occasional basis for design and plan development Attend clientmeetings, day or night. Assist in client contact and communicationpertaining to projects. Other duties as assigned.
