You will thrive as this reputable business's Staff Accountant, if you can handle matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry, and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). 　　What you get to do every single day:

　　Use a variety of sources to prepare statements and reports

　　Assist with general accounting tasks, including G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other ad hoc projects

　　Support Accounts Receivable by processing daily invoices/credit, applying cash receipts, and helping with collection of past due balances

　　Assist accounts payable with vendor invoices and disbursement filing and with A/P invoice matching & filing

　　Use various methods to add financial information to journals and ledgers

　　Resolve discrepancies, and create correction documents if needed, by checking all possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts

　　Assist with other related duties and special projects as assigned

　　Accurately code documents with expenditure codes and accounting codes

　　Requirements - Deep understanding of Sage 300

　　Expertise in Accrual Accounting

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

　　Candidates with Spreadsheet and ERP system experience will be prioritized

　　Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required

　　1+ years of accounting experience required

　　Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds
