  Perdue AgriBusiness is seeking a Recruiter to join our HR team and support our growing organization at our facility in Salisbury, MD. This role is ideal for someone who is an independent self-starter. You will be part of a great team who thrives on partnering with our business leaders, supervisors, and employees to deliver exceptional results. This position is responsible for recruiting and managing the hourly staffing levels.

  Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  Manages all hourly recruitment, including part time, full-time, and seasonal candidates. This includes screening applicants, scheduling interviews, conducting interviews, generating offers, completing pre-employment activities and onboarding.

  Process skills assessments for promotions.

  Attend job fairs and represent the company at various recruitment related events.

  Complete IT related request for new hires/current associates through the proper IT channels.

  Conduct new hire check-ins and exit interviews.

  Ensures all new hire paperwork requirements are consistently met.

  Ensure all employment documentation is accurate and completed in accordance with Company policies and procedures as well as Federal, State, and local government laws and regulations.

  Provide assistance with conducting wage survey analysis for business groups and regional/geographic areas.

  Perform other tasks as assigned.

  Minimum Education

  AA/BS Degree (Human Resources, Management, Business or Agriculture) preferred but not requiredExperience Requirements

  2-4 years previous talent acquisition or HR full life cycle experience.

  Understanding of employment laws, staffing, compensation, and EEO/AAP.

  Understanding of OSHA laws, regulations, and requirements.

  Understanding of Worker’s Compensation laws and regulations.

  Strong written and oral communication skills.

  Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.

  Understanding of standard software applications.

  Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  Normal climate controlled environment with primarily sedentary work. Able to use standard office equipment and communicate on the telephone. Required to travel to remote AgriBusiness facilities and recruiting locations. Able to move freely throughout the AgriBusiness facilities.
