Description We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Temple City, California. The primary function of this position is to ensure proper accounting operations in our organization. The Staff Accountant will be involved in a variety of tasks ranging from maintaining general ledger accounts to supporting the company's financial reporting and audit processes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct reconciliations of general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification, accuracy, and completeness

• Prepare journal entries as part of the accounting process

• Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures, adhering to internal deadlines

• Provide necessary schedules and information for financial reporting and internal/external audits

• Uphold the company's established accounting processes and internal controls

• Execute additional duties as assigned, contributing to the smooth operation of the accounting department

• Use accounting software, such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP, for efficient processing and organization of financial data

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Perform bank reconciliations regularly to maintain accurate financial records

• Support the month-end close process, providing accurate and timely financial information.

The Staff Accountant will play a key role in our finance department, working closely with other team members to achieve our financial objectives. Requirements

• Prior experience at a Big 4 Accounting Firm is Mandatory

• Experience with ASC 606

• Familiarity with General Ledger maintenance and management

• Ability to prepare and review Journal Entries

• Experience with Month End Close procedures and reporting

• Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting and financial tasks

• Experience with Oracle financial software suite

• Knowledge and practical use of SAP for accounting functions

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
