About Us:

Our client is a well-respected Non-profit organization. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their finance team. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while contributing to the overall mission.

Responsibilities:

Manage grants accounting processes, including tracking grant funds, compliance, and reporting requirements.

Assist in the preparation and allocation of budgets for various programs and initiatives.

Maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger entries.

Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with program managers and other departments to monitor spending and ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.

Assist in the annual audit process and provide support for grant audits as needed.

Stay informed about regulatory changes and best practices in non-profit accounting and grant management.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

3-5 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in a non-profit environment.

Strong understanding of grants accounting principles and compliance requirements.

Experience with budgeting, allocation, and financial analysis.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Intacct) and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and organization.
