In this very involved Staff Accountant position you will spend a good deal of time producing Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. Your responsibilities will also include preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. 　　As a Staff Account Your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

　　Ready complex journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll

　　Assist in monthly financial close workbook preparation, including annual closing process

　　Be a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments

　　Offer descriptions of a large number of financial data and communicate insights in a useful and understandable manner

　　Aid in implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP

　　Oversee the creation of monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for reporting to management

　　Complete month end close, journal entries, without supervision

　　Carry out fixed asset ledger, depreciation, and reconciliation

　　Maintain monthly payment schedules

　　Ad-hoc tasks and special projects, as needed

　　Requirements

　　The Ideal Staff Accountant will meet the following Requirements:

　　Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Current and relevant ERP system experience

　　Be detailed, flexible, and organized

　　Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

　　General familiarity with Prepare Tax Returns

　　Experience with journal entries

　　Well-founded grasp of payroll

　　General ledger experience

　　Strong familiarity with journal entries

　　Proven knowledge of bank reconciliations

　　Foundational knowledge in journal entries

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Prepare Trial Balance

　　Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

　　Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail

　　Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

　　Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines

　　Outstanding organizational, written and verbal communication skills required

　　Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
