Description

　　Robert Half has partnered with an esteemed organization in the Logistics industry to find a Staff Accountant to join their dynamic team. In this position, the Staff Accountant prepares journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. During the monthly close, you'll have responsibility over many aspects of internal reporting. Your duties will also include participating in compliance, reviewing schedules for the reporting processes, and staying connected with our external auditors throughout quarterly reviews and annual audits. A good deal of time in this position will be spent on producing Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets.

　　What you get to do every day

　　Assist in monthly financial close workbook preparation, including annual closing process

　　Maintain intricate journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll

　　Large focus on manual bank reconciliations

　　Maintain fixed asset ledger, depreciation, and reconciliation

　　Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting

　　Execute month end close, journal entries, with little supervision

　　Requirements

　　Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

　　Efficient in ERP systems

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　Manual Bank Reconciliations for Multiple Accounts

　　2+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

　　General familiarity with fixed assets

　　Journal Entry experience
