About Lead Cash Operations Manager

  This role will be responsible for cash management, support for liquidity management and operational activity with the Federal Home Loan Bank of NY. This position reports to the Assistant Treasurer.

  You will

  Perform daily cash management for assigned entities, including accuracy of cash forecast, variance analysis, determining daily intercompany funding, making decisions on intercompany borrowing and lending, recommending short term investment positions and durations, ensuring the integrity of the daily cash activity, and processing electronic funds transfers (EFTs)

  Manage all aspects of relationship with FHLB, including identifying and submitting collateral to FHLB, managing collateral and advances, determining term of advances, taking advances, and purchasing activity stock in connection with the advances, interest accruals as needed, managing interest payments and principal repayments, managing FHLB advances in connection with the Funding Agreement Backed Note warehouses.

  Maintain full understanding of Guardian liquidity strategy, stress testing and reporting

  You are

  Strong team player

  Well organized and detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy

  Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while working independently and/or in a team environment

  Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization

  Proficient in Microsoft Office

  Knowledge of Kyriba Treasury Management System and Oracle a plus

  You have

  5+ of relevant experience, including knowledge of processes and procedures for FHLB collateral and advances

  CTP a plus

  Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics preferred but not required or equivalent work experience

  Location /Travel

  Hybrid role –in office 2 days a week, WFH – 3 days a week at any Guardian office located in Hudson Yards, NYC; Bethlehem, PA ; Holmdel NJ or Pittsfield, MA.#LI-Hybrid

  Salary Range

  $99,190.00 - $162,955.00

  The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
