Staff Accountant

　　SRC, Inc (https://www.srcinc.com) . is currently seeking a staff accountant. The selected candidate will provide accounting and analytical support for billing general accounting functions. This position reports to the Billing Manager.

　　What You’ll Do

　　Produce billing invoices in a commercial and government setting

　　Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations and analysis

　　Perform other general accounting activities and complete analytical processes

　　What You’ll Bring

　　Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

　　Experience: 3+ years of experience

　　MBA, CPA or CMA a plus

　　Must be able to work independently and have strong problem-solving skills

　　Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel

　　Position requires excellent communications skills, and a positive, customer service orientation

　　Attention to detail a must

　　Exposure to Deltek Costpoint is a plus

　　Experience in government billing preferred

　　Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $60,000 to $69,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
