Description

　　Robert Half is partnering with a local Non-Profit to hire a Staff Accountant. As the Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-profit accounting, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a mission-driven environment.

　　Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

　　Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.

　　Record and reconcile financial transactions, including donations, grants, and expenses.

　　Ensure compliance with non-profit accounting principles, IRS regulations, and other relevant guidelines.

　　Maintain banking transactions and cash disbursements

　　Work closely with program managers to track and report on the financial aspects of grants.

　　Assist in the preparation for annual audits and provide necessary documentation.

　　Complete monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliation .

　　Requirements

　　Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

　　Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Associate's degree + 4 years of related experience

　　Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required

　　Knowledge of non-profit accounting principles, regulations, and compliance requirements.
