Robert Half has an opportunity for you to become a critical part of an innovative company, as a full-time Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant will prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. This role is for someone who wants to perform internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes. Major responsibilities
Perform the month end close and produce journal entries under minimal supervision
Produce analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for reporting by management
Handle intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation
Organize and review a variety of financial data, reporting it in a way that is useful and understandable
Become well-versed in month end balance sheet account reconciliations
Arrange schedules for capital lease and monthly payments
Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP
Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation
Ad hoc reporting and performing special projects upon request
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Maintain fixed asset ledgers, depreciation, and reconciliation
Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks
Assemble journal entries and thorough account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

Requirements - Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Proficient in ERP systems
Remarkable analytical, quantitative and social skills
Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Mature organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
Recent and relevant accounting experience
Vow to meet business deadlines
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
