Job Description Summary
As Clinical Specialist you will be in charge of providing a highly professional level of clinical support in Iberia while being aligned with the strategic execution implemented by the Commercial Organization. The purpose of this role is to promote growth of our products through specialized clinical sessions, training programs and evidence generation programs, giving also technical support in the operating room to ensure the correct use of Peripheral Interventional BD products. You will be also responsible for developing projects with KOLs for different scientific activities, working along with the Sales Team, European marketing team and BDX to develop materials, activities, campaigns, etc., for key accounts and customers, helping to increase the presence of the BD solutions in the market.

Our Peripheral Intervention (PI) business unit offers a comprehensive range of medical products, devices and services for the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous disease, cancer detection, and end-stage renal disease and maintenance.
About the role
As Clinical Specialist you will be in charge of providing a highly professional level of clinical support in Iberia while being aligned with the strategic execution implemented by the Commercial Organization. The purpose of this role is to promote growth of our products through specialized clinical sessions, training programs and evidence generation programs, giving also technical support in the operating room to ensure the correct use of Peripheral Interventional BD products. You will be also responsible for developing projects with KOLs for different scientific activities, working along with the Sales Team, European marketing team and BDX to develop materials, activities, campaigns, etc., for key accounts and customers, helping to increase the presence of the BD solutions in the market.
Main responsibilities will include:
Develop and adapt promotional, clinical materials to local market needs.
With the Field Sales training, provide ongoing and regular training updates for the sales force including reviews of key clinical publications, updates on practice guidelines etc
Provide in-country teams with marketing support, training and materials for local implementation
The development and launch of formal value add Professional Education to physicians.
Build and maintain links with Key Opinion Leaders through leading PE activities (e.g. through In-country Masterclass programmes, Clinician Education Programs, KOL round-tables, etc)
Technical support of key national clinical trial centers targeted to those centers developing treatment protocols for new indications
With the Marketing Manager , provide ongoing and regular training updates for the sales force including reviews of key clinical publications, updates on practice guidelines etc
Need to be able to travel up to 50% or more of the time, mostly within Iberia
About you
Degree or diploma level qualification in healthcare, biological sciences. Business related studies are a plus
Commercial or clinical support experience within the medical device industry
Ability to develop strong technical knowledge of products, and related procedures and indications
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively manage all levels of interaction
Flexibility to travel extensively
English – upper-intermediate
Committed to deliver results within the given timelines
You should feel comfortable with ICT tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce.com, etc.)
