The CommandCentral Training Delivery Team designs and delivers software training to the public safety sector. We are committed to providing thoughtful, instructor led training which allows customers to focus on their mission and enables them to respond faster with smarter and safer decisions. The CommandCentral software suite includes Community Engagement, NG 9-1-1 Call Management, Voice & Computer Aided Dispatch, Real Time Intelligence Operations, Field Response and Reporting, Records & Evidence Management, and Crime Analysis/Investigation Softwares.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dynamic individual with a combination of traits to conduct hands-on virtual and classroom instruction for cloud software technologies. In this role you will be responsible for supporting ongoing technical/end-user training activities within Worldwide Education, with added focus on the user experience, customer workflows, and quality of the training.

  This ideal candidate should have a good blend of initiative, instructional experience, technical background, and adaptability to effectively tailor and enhance the customer education experience for varying student levels, from end users to system administrators in the Public Safety environment. The ideal candidate will be effective at facilitating training classes in-person and virtually using live customer and/or demo software environments, documentation, and minimal slide content.

  Responsibilities of the Sr. Training Specialist include but are not limited to:

  Teaching and instructing agency customers and staff on the use and operating methods of complex software products and services

  Conducting virtual and/or on-site training for Motorola CommandCentral software and designated third party software integrations

  Presenting training using a variety of classroom training methods; including but not limited to Zoom, Google Meet, Google Slides, Camtasia, and PowerPoint

  Completing department required reports within set standards and deadlines

  Managing communication with customer and internal stakeholders related to the project and training schedules

  Compile comprehensive training and technical documents, and course material for new and existing products or services

  Measure knowledge transfer and training effectiveness

  Operates under supervision from the CommandCentral Training Team Manager

  Qualifications:

  Must have a valid drivers license

  Travel requirements: frequent travel up to 50%, with domestic and occasional international travel requirements to meet business needs. This position is open to all US States remotely.

  Must have a valid drivers license

  1+ years of experience working with Motorola Solutions Customer Software preferred

  3+ years of technical training experience preferred

  3+ years of public safety experience preferred

  This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.
