Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Strategic Initiatives Manager to join the BCS Team remotely.
In this role you will support and lead a variety of strategic efforts inclusive of playing a pivotal role in divisional annual/long-term strategic plans and programs. This position is crucial to the BCS Division’s ability to establish its short, medium, and long-term plans. You will need to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams. This role will require someone with a combination of business and soft skills – how you do things is often as important as what you do. The success in this role demands a strong strategic and analytical orientation coupled with exceptional communication skills as well as a highly developed collaborative nature. Vision, energy, enthusiasm, and focus are required but also contextual sensitivity and the ability to work effectively across a broad spectrum of people.
Essential Functions:
Strategy development – facilitate, assist, and drive development of business and program strategies
Program management – manage and administer various BCS programs
Business intelligence – develop and manage Business Intelligence data within BCS in support of leadership teams
Data analytics – develop and manage data analytics programs for BCS.
Qualifications
Minimal Job Requirements:
College degree from an accredited institution required; graduate degree/MBA preferred or relative experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in position which required collecting and analyzing data and business results and providing recommendations to Sr. leadership.
Exceptionally good analytical skills, an ability to translate raw information into actionable strategies and initiatives
Leadership and management experience
Proficient in data tools such as Excel and Power BI
Experience facilitating teams and ability to ensure two-way dialogue within teams
Excellent time management skills
Articulate, dynamic, energetic and delivery focused
Adept at removing the barriers that get in the way of delivering excellent customer service
A people person who also can lead, inspire, and motivate a team into consistent performance improvement.
Passionate about team building and be an outgoing, likable, and relatable individual who forms strong and lasting connections with others
