Our team enables the end-to-end capability to collect diagnostics/feedback data from Copilot users, distill them into structured user/product insights, and feed them into the AI product development lifecycle. Our work covers mission critical service engineering, cutting edge user experience development and large scale data processing.
We are looking for a motivated and talented senior software engineer who can lead the technical design and implementation of features that will shape the future of AI Copilots.
Responsibilities
Plan, architect, design, implement and validate features from end-to-end, working closely with other team members in one (or both) of the following two project domains:Copilot diagnostics/feedback data collection and processing:Build scalable, reliable, maintainable and compliant M365 core services and pipelines that collect usage/diagnostic/feedback data of Copilot users and elevate them into actionable product/user insights. You will leverage the full power of the M365 service stack to underpin many core functionalities of all M365 Copilots.
User experiences of consuming Copilot diagnostics/feedback data insights:Build performant, reliable and scalable web user experiences that empower Copilot product teams to search, triage and drill into product/user insights during product development. You will use modern web technologies and frameworks, and create intuitive and interactive interfaces that delight the users and drive the product quality and innovation.
Maintain a high bar on software quality and leverage metrics to drive the quality and stability of code. You will follow best practices and standards for coding, testing, debugging, monitoring and documentation.
Demonstrate strategic understanding of the timing and rationale for design choices, within the scope of work. You will consistently contribute key ideas to the product design and vision that meets the customer's needs.
Drive engineering reviews across the team and apply expertise in available technologies. You will provide constructive feedback and guidance to other engineers and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Work closely with geographically distributed teams, including developers, product managers and designers, to drive key improvements in feature areas. You will be super adaptive to the fast-changing project and team environment and are willing to work in areas that no one has explored before.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in either service engineering or web development, with a proven track record of delivering high quality and impactful products or services.
Proficiency in the following programming languages: * C# and/or C++ (for service engineering)* TypeScript/JavaScript (for web engineering)
Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills, and a growth mindset.
Passion for AI, data and insights, and a curiosity for learning new technologies and domains.
BS/MS/PhD degree in Computer Science or related fields.
Solid knowledge of general software engineering principles and practices.
Experience with M365 service stack, Azure, React, or PowerBI is a plus.
A sense of pride, commitment, and personal accountability for the product quality, completeness and resulting user experience
