Job Description Overview

　　BlueWater Federal is looking for a Sr Software Developer/Engineer to supportthe SEWS III program in Colorado Springs. As the Sr SoftwareDeveloper/Engineer, you will provide Cross Domain Solution (CDS)technical services for the program. You will perform analysis and makerecommendations for implementing updates/upgrades to the current CDSsand/or development of a new CDS.Responsibilities

　　Ensure the SEWS CDSs are properly maintained and remain in an operationalstate.Provide support for CDS-related issues, ensuring the issue is resolvedquickly and corrective actions are well documented.Perform analysis of CDS impacts when modifications or new solutions areencountered.Provide recommendations for the best course of action to address CDS-relatedmodifications.Perform engineering-level testing on CDS updates/modifications and documentresults.Maintain the secure status of the CDSs by testing and implementingsecurity/vulnerability updates when available.Perform required backup and restore functions on the CDSs.Travel to CDS sites to perform updates/installations, provide CDS-relatedtraining as requested.Work with the CDS vendor when a new build is being developed, providingguidance and assisting with the testing.Maintain awareness of Raise the Bar (RTB) requirements and ensure the CDSsare in compliance with updates.Qualifications

　　Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, Master's preferred5+ years of software development experienceMust have an active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain aTS/SCI.Security+ certification, CISSP preferred.In-depth knowledge of SELinux, Python, Perl, C++, Java, bash,regular expressionsAbility to perform reverse engineering to analyze items identified aboveAbility to learn new programming conceptsAbility to troubleshoot issues and make appropriate modificationsAbility to travel approximately 6-7 weeks a year.At BlueWater Federal Solutions, a Tetra Tech company, health and safetyplay a vital role in our success.
