We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Management System (WMS) Implementation Senior Project Manager to lead the successful execution of the WMS project from initiation to completion at the Memphis Logistics Center (MLC). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly in the implementation of Warehouse Management Systems, and a deep understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. This position can be based at Raritan NJ or Memphis TN.

Position Summary:
The objective of this position is to lead a flawless cutting edge Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation, on time, on cost and on scope in the MedTech Memphis Logistics Center (MLC).
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Initiation:
Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables.
Conduct thorough assessments of current warehouse processes and requirements to inform project initiation.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, Operations, and Logistics teams, to understand their needs and expectations.
Establish clear communication channels to keep stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.
Vendor Selection and Management:
Participate in the selection of WMS vendors by evaluating proposals, conducting vendor assessments, and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Manage relationships with WMS vendors to ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
Implementation Execution:
Oversee the end-to-end implementation of WMS, ensuring alignment with project specifications and requirements.
Coordinate and conduct user training sessions to facilitate a smooth transition to the new system.
Quality Assurance:
Develop and implement quality assurance processes to monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure the WMS meets operational needs.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate risks associated with project implementation, including resource constraints, technical challenges, and potential disruptions to warehouse operations.Documentation:
Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change management logs.
Create comprehensive user manuals and documentation for the WMS system.
Post-Implementation Support:
Provide ongoing support post-implementation to address issues, refine processes, and ensure optimal WMS performance.
Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives based on post-implementation feedback.
Qualifications
Required & Preferred Skills
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree or focused degree specifically in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred
Minimum of 10 years’ Supply Chain environment required
Proven experience managing end-to-end WMS implementation projects required
Strong project or program management skills and experience coordinating cross-functional teams required
Highly collaborative with the ability to lead and influence others in a complex matrix organization is required
Ability to act decisively and manage risks with limited information is required
Ability to navigate in an ambiguous environment, work independently, manage complexity and take ownership for deliverables is required
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the company is required
Understanding of supply chain interdependencies (end to end) is preferred
Understanding of information technology capabilities (master data, information flows, customer Connectivity, etc.) in the Deliver space preferred
Medical Technology experience (working across the franchises) preferred
Others:
Position requires an average on 25% to 50% domestic traveling depending on home base.
The anticipated base pay for this position is $118,000 to $179,035.50
