As a Sales Coordinator, you will work within the International Sales Team by supporting the company in growing its existing overseas customer account base while working to develop new business and customers.
Although your primary focus will be fresh seafood sales, you will be challenged to grow sales through the catalogue of Cooke offers. You will service the international customer accounts through daily communication of availability and pricing, sales order confirmation, sales forecasting, tracing and communication of order fulfilment and delivery, customer onboarding, and managing customer claims.
You will work closely with supply chain, inside sales and global logistics to ensure order commitment and delivery, and you will stay current on export requirements and destination country regulations on seafood and liaise with Quality Assurance and Canadian regulatory authorities (CFIA).
This will be a highly rewarding and integral role in the International Sales division. It requires a high attention to detail and a strong understanding of the international market and internal supply trends. You will understand the harvest forecast and how it will affect the available supply for foreign markets. Effective communication skills that allow for this person to connect to different parties and departments will be crucial to this role’s success.
Essential Functions:
Offering fresh salmon and trout to Asia with supply and pricing update to customers
Working closely with global logistics to ensure smooth delivery with accurate export documentation
Coordinating fresh supply from Scotland/Spain/Chile to North America and Asia
Offering entire seafood catalog according to supply available to oversea markets
Import and export readiness Management
Supporting and growing existing customer accounts
Supporting New Business and Customer Onboarding
Customer Claims Management
CRM Dashboard / System & tools track sales performance
Key Competencies:
