Work closely with the Project Management team and provide civil engineering expertise as needed for the entire life cycle of various large commercial construction projects. Review various preliminary engineering drawings including topography and structural specifications and calculations. Gather information needed during the entire project such as basis of design, scope, and specification. Identify risks, opportunities, and prepare project estimates. Prepare project budget and project schedules, list required materials, equipment, and manpower requirements to complete the project within schedule and budget; Make decisions concerning equipment needs; sequence of operations, personnel, and physical constraints. Perform project scheduling, cost control, document control and resource management for projects. Position requires Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, or closely related and 5 years of relevant experience or in lieu Master’s degree in civil Engineering, construction engineering, or closely related plus 3 years of experience; requires 1 year experience in Plan Swift, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and OSHA - 30 hr. construction safety and Health certificate.Salary 126,714 /year and benefits.
