About Sr. Product Manager - Technical

  Description

Are you passionate about solving complex customer and business problems at scale? Want to build highly innovative products that propel Amazon's mission to be Earth's most customer-centric company? The e-Commerce Services Group at Amazon is an agile team whose charter is to deliver the next generation of e-Commerce solutions.

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, results-oriented Sr. Product Manager - Technical. In this role, you will lead Amazon's product suite that models transportation and regional capabilities of all items, offers, sellers, and destinations accurately, authoritatively, and completely for all Amazon marketplaces. The product vision is to exponentially simplify the ability for Amazon businesses and its partners to build superior regionally-contextual initiatives and to enable a customer experience that allows for a seamless shopping experience, from product discovery to purchase, based on their location, program eligibility, and delivery options.

You will leverage your deep product management expertise to work backwards from customer scenarios and identify the right opportunities to help us accelerate at scale, and innovate faster for our customers. If you have a passion for innovation, for thinking big to tackle ambiguous problems, for solving some of the biggest technical challenges in the industry, and for building elegant products that delight our customers, we need you!

  Key job responsibilities

As a Sr. Product Manager - Technical, you are the end-to-end owner of your product's vision, strategy, and execution. You will define the product roadmap and bring your vision to life by leading a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, program managers, and other product owners. You will drive day-to-day product development from design through to release. Your product requirements are concise, with clear, measurable success criteria. You are an effective negotiator, make smart trade-offs without sacrificing quality, and drive appropriate schedules. You use data to influence our business strategy and technical priorities, and escalate when necessary without damaging relationships. You independently represent your products and the product team and are comfortable communicating with senior executives as well as with business and technical stakeholders.

  A day in the life

As a Sr. Product Manager - Technical, you will be expected to:

Dive deep with your customers to identify and understand their pain points.

Use your technical judgment and understanding to test assumptions.

Think big to build durable products that anticipate future pain points.

Deliver products on time with the right feature set and high quality.

Evangelize your products and drive adoption.

Contribute to organizational product and roadmap planning.

  Help others grow professionally.
