What will you help us create?
The Sr. Operations Excellence Manager (OPM) works with the operations leadership team to develop and implement new processes, initiate and implement strategic initiatives, drive operational efficiencies, and effect organizational communications. The role navigates and works across all functional organizations within Device Operations and Amazon. The role balances a variety of strategic, programmatic, and operational responsibilities in support of the broader organization. The candidate should possess persuasive and outstanding communications skills, and be effective in working across functional boundaries.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and evangelize strategies across the organization
Develop, analyze and report metrics that define operational excellence and organizational health
Coordinate information flow across teams in support of business operations
Drive alignment of processes and initiatives throughout the Ops organization
Manage staff agenda and communications meetings
Help the team prepare for business reviews
Develop and deploy the communication strategy for the organization
Coordinate and publish roadmaps to align resources throughout the organization
Develop detailed requirements used to develop processes and business systems
Solve complex problems while dealing with ambiguity
Exhibit a constant passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience
Travel as required to accomplish business needs

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
