About Senior Business Development and Account Manager, EU, Fuse

  Description

  Amazon is currently seeking a dynamic and versatile Senior Manager, Business Development for Europe to help both secure new and manage existing distribution partnerships for our consumer subscriptions business (particularly Prime and Prime Video) across Europe (with a particular focus on the Nordics). Drawing on both BD and Account Management skillsets, responsibilities of the role would include securing new and optimising existing strategic partnerships with major telcos and MVPDS across Europe as well as piloting innovative deals in new verticals such as energy, sports, finance and media. Managing this exciting and fast-growing portion of the Amazon business will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to fulfill the Amazon motto to “Work Hard, have Fun, and make History.”

  As the Senior Manager, Business Development for EU your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Working with internal stakeholder businesses to agree and execute a strategy for country specific business development opportunities for Telecom, Media distribution companies (with a particular focus on the Nordics) and other segments.

  • Own existing strategic partner accounts; fostering senior partner exec relationships, leading regular QBRs, driving deal optimisations and re-negotiations, always cognizant of the interplay with other Amazon departments.

  • Lead all partner activity to source and negotiate complex partnership agreements, from first contact through to signed contracts in agreed geographies and segments.

  • Lead all internal approvals and due diligence including document writing to ensure deals meet the needs of all stakeholders and are approved by the business.

  • Coordinate with peripheral Amazon business development teams to leverage established relationships, present a unified vision to our partners in EU and close partnerships that add significant value to the business.

  We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

  London, GBR

  Basic Qualifications

  5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

  5+ years of professional or military experience

  Bachelor's degree

  Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

  Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  Experience developing, leading, negotiating and executing corporate and/or business transactions

  Preferred Qualifications

  Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
