The Role

This is a pivotal role in advancing Lumen’s vision, goals, and objectives through strategic communication and planning. This position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communication strategy, managing key partnerships, and ensuring all communications are inclusive and aligned with the company's values. The Senior Manager will also oversee the planning and execution of various events centered around the SVP’s rhythm of business, measuring their effectiveness and ensuring they support Lumen's strategic goals.

This role requires strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in communications and planning, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives.

The Main Responsibilities

• Develop and execute approaches to improve strategic engagement support including leadership of cross-functional stakeholder and customer engagement activities, communications planning, and facilitation of internal team communications strategies.

• Design an executive engagement strategy that supports short- and long-term business priorities.

• Facilitate development of and driving engagement goals working with internal stakeholders.

• Develop, implement and iterate processes and mechanisms to improve the way we engage with our partners and customers.

• Build and execute a communication strategy that supports Lumen’s vision, goals, and objectives.

• Manage key partnerships, interacting and communicating with stakeholders across all levels to inform and influence outcomes.

• Plan effective and engaging internal communications that inform and inspire readers across channels, including cyclical and one-off communications.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with Lumen's goals and objectives and the leadership’s overall rhythm of business.

• Evaluate performance for communications based on key metrics and recommend refinements to communication strategies, messaging, and channels/forums.

• Demonstrate strong critical thinking with the ability to adapt in real time and provide clear recommendations in an ever-changing environment.

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

$129,639.00 - $172,852.00 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY

$136,121.00 - $181,494.00 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$142,603.00 - $190,137.00 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
